The NSW Maritime's Boating Handbook provides essential boating information for operating on NSW waters. It is recommended that you read through the literature provided prior to sitting the test.  The downloadable files are in *.pdf format, able to be viewed in Adobe Acrobat.

• 60 m from a person and a non-powered vessel

• 30 m from a power-driven vessel, land & structures

• a safe distance from any vessel towing a person.
