The following maximum plying limits apply to Class 1C, 2C and 3C vessels fitted with outboard engines or stern or sail drive units.

Note: All vessels will be restricted to within 30 nautical miles north or south of a designated port of departure or safe haven.

Note: The propulsion power of all vessels must be at least 19kWs, except in the case of 3C beach net vessels.

Plying limits are recorded on the Certificate of Survey.  Plying limits may be reduced at the discretion of a Maritime surveyor or naval architect if the structure of the vessel or installation is not adequate for the intended use.
