Rosehill Trailer Boat Show, 6-7 March 2010

The Rosehill Trailer Boat Show in Sydney this weekend has free entry and is aimed at families with its focus on trailerable boats, smaller craft such as canoes and kayaks and fishing gear.

The Boating Industry Association has held the Trailer Boat Show at Rosehill Gardens Event Centre for the past eight years and prior to that at Silverwater and Parramatta.

Domenic Genua, Marketing and Events Manager for the BIA says the show has become popular for bargain hunters. “Many of our members utilise Rosehill to clear excess stock and for that reason the show has provided some real opportunities for boat buyers.”

NSW Maritime will be conducting on site boat licence testing for those who have completed the Boating Safety Course. The course will also be available on DVD for purchase.

The NSW Maritime stand will also have the latest safe boating information and publications, facilities for renewal of boating licences and registration and fun giveaways for kids.

The venue is: Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, James Ruse Drive, Rosehill on Saturday and Sunday 6-7 March from 9am to 5pm. Admission is free.
