Priority Waiting List - Hunter Inland Region

Howo to apply to be on a priority waiting list

Please note:

Hunter/Inland Region has restricted availability for houseboat applications due to unsuitable weather conditions or insufficient space available to moor this type of vessel.  Areas in which applications for mooring houseboats that may be considered are denoted by this symbol .  All applications for moorings are subject to a comprehensive Part V environmental assessment which includes visual suitability and are "subject to approval".

Some mooring areas within the Hunter/Inland Region have maximum vessel length restrictions.  Please contact the Newcastle or Port Stephens Office for further information.

For Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens some mooring sites are situated outside the boundaries of the mooring area and these sites cannot be reissued in their present location. For further information please contact the Newcastle office on (02) 49628500 or Port Stephens office on (02) 49842133 for further information.

Moorings allocated in certain areas of Marine Parks may be subject to requirements to use sea-grass friendly moorings.  Please check with the Port Stephens office on (02) 49842133 for further information.
Priority lists and wait times are subject to change without notice.
