Marine Safety (Commercial Vessels) Regulation 2010We are seeking your views Maritime is seeking your views on the draft Marine Safety (Commercial Vessels) Regulation 2010. The draft Regulation adopts contemporary national standards including the National Standard for Commercial Vessels as the standard for the design, construction, equipment and operation of domestic commercial vessels and the National Standard for the Administration of Marine Safety, Survey of Vessels. The Regulation enhances safety, removes unnecessary and outdated provisions, simplifies administrative processes and provides consistency with requirements for recreational vessels where there is no significant difference in risk.
